 Balloon Animal (and Exercise Ball) blow-up fun Oct 13, 2009

I have several of these in my balloon animal kit for my mobile shows. A few pumps of air (not hard to do, slides with ease), and you have an inflated balloon.
Rather than pay for an electrical pump, I used this on my exercise ball (look for it in my reviews - a great product!) While it might have taken longer and used up more of MY energy than an electric pump, it saved me money to use this product instead. Also, I was trying to get exercise, so that's kinda the point, right? I did it while watching TV, no biggie.
They are light, compact, and easy to store. If you break or lose one due to carelessness, they aren't that expensive to replace, so it's a good deal.
If you are a professional balloon artist, or just getting started, be sure to start with one of these BEFORE you invest in another product. The same product is available from those pro-vendors for much more money. Different colors, with a pretty sticker on the side, but it's the same thing... so save your money.

love it! it saves me from blowing things up myself! and it's so small you can take it anywhere (like the pool, so the floats don't have to be blown up in the car.)

Just received this. I think the Mini in the name led me to believe this would be like some of the Nike pumps that you find in sporting good stores, that really are pocket-sized. This one is not. It's a good pump (just used it to put some more air in my balance ball), and it IS portable, but it measures about 11" long and 2" wide. It's hard to tell that from the picture.

Honestly, I feel like I could use this all summer long. Its very convenient and small to fit any sport bag and the price was great. I always used my dad's air pumps when I was growing up, his were actually air compressors that weighed up to 10+ lbs and had to be charged just to put a little air in a bike tire. This is so light and convenient and not an overly expensive gadget. I bought it with the pilates ball and it only takes 5-6 pumps to inflate it. It has a needle and a plastic head for inflating different items. I will take this to the pool and beach all summer to inflate anything and everything.
